Lifetime Warranty

Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty

At Karat Lab, we take pride in the expert craftsmanship and durability of our jewelry. Every piece undergoes stringent quality checks to ensure it lasts a lifetime. For this reason, all our gold and platinum jewelry is covered by a Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty, protecting against structural defects that occur due to manufacturing.

What’s Covered by the Warranty?

Examples of manufacturing defects include:
Porosity or surface blemishes in the metal.
Uneven settings identified during pickup or servicing.
Chips, scratches, or nicks in stones detected during pickup or servicing.
Improper rhodium plating or stains on the metal.

If a defect is identified, we will repair or replace the item at no cost to you.

Claiming Your Warranty

1. Contact us via our customer service portal.
2. Return the item for assessment. Original packaging, certificates, and proof of purchase are required.

If the issue is confirmed as a manufacturing defect your repair or replacement will be free. If the issue falls outside warranty coverage, we will provide a repair quote.

Note: Repairs or services performed by unauthorized jewelers void the warranty.

What’s Not Covered?

Our warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear (e.g., scratches, dents, or abrasions).
Stone loss or damage due to accidents or mishandling.
Corrosion or discoloration caused by chemicals, chlorine, or cosmetics.
Precious metal degradation or prong wear due to regular use.

Jewelry Care

To preserve your jewelry, avoid wearing it during heavy work, sports, or exposure to chemicals. A general rule of thumb: your jewelry should be the last thing you put on when going out and the first thing you remove when home.

At Karat Lab, we are committed to ensuring that your jewelry remains a cherished part of your life for years to come.
