SHIPPING POLICY

Free Shipping in the UAE: We offer free shipping on all orders within the United Arab Emirates.

Shipping Costs for Orders Outside the UAE: For orders outside the UAE that are below AED 5000, a shipping fee of AED 150 will be automatically applied at checkout.

Order Processing and Dispatch Time: We typically take 1-5 days to process and dispatch your order. Once dispatched, the courier will take approximately 1-15 days to deliver your order.

Extended Fulfillment Times During Festive Seasons: Please note that during festive or holiday seasons, high order volumes and extended off days for courier companies can increase order fulfillment times by an additional 3-4 days.

Shipment Notifications: You will receive a notification with the shipment tracking number once your order ships from our warehouse.

You can pay via all major VISA or MASTERCARD credit/debit cards. Payment is accepted in AED at the time of purchase.

CAN YOU CHANGE OR CANCEL YOUR ORDER?

You can change or cancel your order after placing your order by sending us your cancellation or change request on any of our contact channels.

Once your order has been processed and dispatched, your order cannot be changed or cancelled.

CAN YOU CHANGE YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS?

You can change your shipping address after placing your order by sending us your change request on any of our contact channels.

Once your order has been processed and dispatched, your order will be changed or re-routed and you WILL NOT be eligible for a refund. We take no responsibility for orders placed to the wrong address.

FAILED DELIVERY OF THE PACKAGE

If the package cannot be delivered to the given shipping address due to causes ascribable to the absent cooperation of the customer (wrong or incorrect shipping address, absent receiver) or if the customer refuses to collect the package, the package will be returned to us at the customer's expense.

ITEMS NOT RECEIVED BUT TRACKING SHOWS DELIVERED

We do not refund or replace items that are marked as delivered by our courier.

CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY

Every piece of jewelry and diamond that you purchase from Karat Lab is certified for authenticity by third-party international laboratory - IGI (International Gemological Institute)

At Karat Lab, if you choose a cash refund, we’ll repurchase your item at 60% of the original invoice value, reflecting a 40% deduction. This option is available for refund requests made within one year of the invoice date, ensuring you receive a fair portion of your purchase value back in cash if you change your mind about your purchase.

For all exchanges, Karat Lab will provide a credit note for future purchases. 

• Gold Jewelry: We offer 90% of the current market value based on the net weight of the gold.

• Platinum Jewelry: The buyback value is 75% of the current market value, calculated by net weight.

• Diamond with Gold/Platinum: 75% of the current market value based on metal weight and total carat weight of diamonds.

• Gemstone Jewelry: 65% of the current market value, considering metal and gemstone weight.

• Loose Solitaires: No buyback or exchange policy.

The prevailing market value is determined by us, and shipping charges are borne by the customer. Credit notes will be processed via bank transfer within 10 days after quality checks and valuation. This policy does not apply to international orders.
